Just image that your boss expects you to present a paper to him or her by the close of business today, but instead of using the computer, you are required to use a typewriter! Yes, a typewriter. You are escorted to a back room, where much to your surprise, there sits a typewriter, equipped with paper. Well, once you stop laughing and realize that your boss is quite serious, you consider the fact that a typewriter really can do the job of typing a letter, note, etc. However, while it was perfectly acceptable to use a typewrite for this task years ago, the fact is that there are more efficient, effective, and readily available means to get this job done today.

How does effective study skills help a student?

Students are being asked to manage many tasks, and learn lots of information on a daily basis. Additionally, in today's schools, they must be able to demonstrate this learning by doing well on standardized tests, in order to be successful.  So students need  the advantage of having the most efficient and effective tools available. In today's schools, the typewriter will not do!
